- Spanish online lottery market growing by an annual 66 percent

Altenholz/Madrid, November 29, 2006 -- Telefónica Spain has agreed a
long-term partnership with DigiDis SL, Madrid, a subsidiary of FLUXX AG.
The partnership centres on the sale of state lottery products over the
internet. For instance, a separate lottery area went online last week on
www.terra.es, the telecommmunications group's internet portal. 'Terra
Loterías' provides easy and convenient access to the products of the state
Spanish lottery 'L.A.E.', which includes the internationally famous
Christmas lottery 'El Gordo' and the pan-European 'Euromillions'.

'We are delighted at this huge vote of confidence from Telefónica, one of
the biggest telecoms companies in Europe. This represents an important
milestone in our strategy of securing growth in Spain hand in hand with
renowned brands,' remarked Sascha Badelt, Managing Director of DigiDis SL.

The partnership with Telefónica means that DigiDis is now managing the
lottery services of two internet portals that are among Spain's internet
services with the highest reach. DigiDis has already been running the
online lottery service of Yahoo! España since September.

Spain is the second-biggest lottery market in Europe, after Italy. In 2005,
Spanish lottery companies posted sales of EUR 10.9 billion. Spain also
achieves the highest lottery stakes per capita of EUR 271. According to a
recent study by the research company MECN, around 40 percent of Spain's
population, or 16 million people, currently have internet access. This
figure is set to virtually double by 2010. MECN consequently forecasts high
growth for the Spanish online lottery market over the next few years:
according to the study, the lottery stakes placed over the internet will
rise by an average of 66 percent per year by 2010, from EUR 10 million in
2005 to more than EUR 200 million in 2010.
